Excised leaf from an Italian herbal (book describing plants and herbs) printed in Venice in 1560. Printed in roman type, originally pp. 109-110 of its volume, containing an excerpt from the works of Pedanius Dioscorides. Stapled to the righthand side of a pink sheet with a facsimile of the volume's title page on the left side in black ink.
Unassociated detached leaves, 16th to 18th c.
Various detached leaves of early modern printed books, primarily religious in nature. These leaves are not associated with any specific facsimiles in the collection (or there is no clear association between the title page facsimiles and the detached leaves).
